Austin had karate in the morning and I went for a 3 hour ride when we got back. Mike and Taylor joined me on the Kal-Haven trail. Taylor hates the trail, throw in 20 MPH winds with snow and I knew he was going to be complaining. We rode to Bloomingdale into a headwind with the snow being 6 inches deep in some locations. The lake effect snow machine was in full force. I rode with my Trans-Iowa gear to see how it would feel. I was very pleased to hardly notice the huge camelback I was carrying during the ride. I was easily able to stay hydrated and felt strong on the ride. Mileage for the year is up to 2683.
