Merry Christmas from The Kucharski's Monday (0 Miles). Grandma and Grandpa Masters came up to celebrate Christmas a little early. We went out to dinner and Avery got his favorite meal, a cheeeesbogger. Cheryl and I both ordered wraps, but she didn't like hers. She thought the kitchen had messed up her wrap, but really I ate it by mistake. Oh well, it sure was good.

Tuesday (20 Miles). Went to the gym for a 90 minute spin. Wrapped some presents after the boys went to bed.

Wednesday (30 Miles). I left work a little early to get a ride in on the Kal Haven trail on the Pug. There was a good 4 inch base around Kalamazoo, but the snow cover was much less as I rode towards the lake. I saw some walkers, dogs, deer, birds, cranes, snowmobiles, and cross country skiers. I guess you never know what you will see on the trail in the winter. A couple women commented on the size of the pug tires and complemented me for being out riding in the snow. All I could think about was "Chicks dig big rubber"!

Thursday (0 Miles). I spent more time helping Cheryl wrap presents and doing my chores around the house.

Friday (6 Miles). Cheryl and I went to Avery's Christmas party at daycare. He decorated some cookies and sang a few songs. He made his daddy proud when he received his "Class Clown" award from his teachers. After Avery went to bed, I ran on the treadmill.

Saturday (30 Miles). Grandma and Grandpa Kucharski came down to celebrate Christmas. They brought homemade chicken pot pie for dinner. We opened our presents, then I went for a 30 mile road ride on the F1000. The temperature had warmed to the upper 40's by late in the afternoon, but a strong wind made my ride very challenging. I washed Cheryl's truck at 9:00 at night because it was so warm and colder temps were on the way. Strong winds were blowing about 60 miles per hour overnight.

Sunday (30 Miles). Started the day off by cleaning up a tree that did not make it through the night in the backyard. Avery watched me from the window as I used the chainsaw. Went to the gym with Mike for a 2 hour spin. We talked about bikes, Trans Iowa, and took a spin class. Cheryl continues to attempt to get everything done for Christmas, she wrapped some more presents and made some cookies. Austin and I (eating samples) helped. Mike and I met Scott down at Bell's for a holiday beer.
